First year of college was hard for me. I can't even enjoy my weekend or mid-term holiday. So at the end of semester, me and mi familia decided to have summer escape to Macau! For you who didn't know, Macau is a special administrative region island located in China. I was so excited :D
Consist of 4 small island, Macau, Taipa, Coloane, and Cotai
Day 1
Since there was no direct flight from Jakarta to Macau, so we have to take another flight via Kuala Lumpur.
First time being in Terminal 3, Soekarno Hatta International Airport. It was quite neat :)
Arrived in LCCT around 10:30 am in lunch time, so we decided to take some meal.
Nasi lemak & Chicken rice :9
After spending 5 hours in LCCT, finally our flight continues. The plane landed in midnight, but Macau in night was amazingly beautiful! My first view was lot of stars hotel with colorful flickering lamp and laser all over the building. Because we arrived in midnight, there were no more shuttle service from airport to peninsula, so we had to take a cab.
Our stay in Macau
Even it was midnight, we can't wait any longer to explore Macau. Thank God, our hotel was close to many tourist sight.
Ponte 16 Hotel

As we walk by to the center of the city, not only we found a lot of Portuguese colonial building, but also modern building with colorful lamp. Just like Las Vegas of the East!
Senado Square
Senado Square is the heart of Colonial history of the city, enclosed by Leal Senado, General Post Office, and St. Dominic Square. It was a paved area where people can get around and having a nice time. I must say this area was beautiful, so no wonder it titled as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Day 2
Wake up in the morning to start our adventure in Macau. First destination was Ruin of St. Paul. On our way to Ruins of St. Paul's, we decided to had a breakfast first. Because of there were only few halal food in the city, so we bought 7Eleven microwave meal. I chose chicken curry rice. The taste was weird. There were so many souvenirs shop in the area, offering Chinese snack.
Ruins of St. Paul's
Ruins of St. Paul's was built in 1582 until it finished by the year 1602 by Jesuits as royalty from Europe. But around 1835, the cathedral was destroyed by fire and typhoon. When I arrived, there were so many tourist, crowded, and it was swelter, so I decided to have a rest.
Next destination was Museu de Macau. The admission was MOP 15 for adults. I thought it worth for what will they give you. The unique part of this museum was because it located on the hill of a fort, called Fortaleza do Monte. The museum was full of history of Portuguese colonial history and the country history.

We spent about an hour in the museum, so we decided to move to another place and had some lunch.
The famous Portuguese egg tart!
Before we had lunch, I begged Ayah to bought me some snack. So he bought me 2 piece of egg tart from Pasteleria Koi Kei. The price was MOP 7/piece. But the price is worth the taste. It was very very very delicious, smooth and tasty.  So we continued our adventure. As we walked down through the road path, I explore more of Macau-Portuguese colonial building.

Had walk for almost 30 minutes but we still can't found halal restaurant. We decided to have a rest in a park, but we accidentally met 3 TKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) whom gave us information about this district called Can San Tang, where there's many of Indonesian restaurant. Here we go Indonesian food!
I found out that this district were full of TKI where they gather every weekend and sell Indonesian food. And we met Sumiati, she sells Nasi Pecel, Bakso, and other Indonesian food. The food cost MOP 20/box, quite pricey but we don't mind because it's rice! :p
After exploring this area, we decided to go back to hotel. After taking a nap,  we back to Senado Square for dinner and met another TKI who told us about this Indonesian restaurant near the square named Toko Barokah. It wasn't actually a restaurant, it was an Indonesian shops who sells food and stuffs.
Another snaps from Senado Square
Day 3
It's time for Hongkong! Since Hongkong and Macau is just separated by an hours ferry trip, so why wasting time? It's a one day trip to Hongkong :D
We planned to go to Madame Tussauds, that famous worldwide wax museum. Because when we first got here, we didn't have enough time to go to Madame Tussauds.
Trem to Madame Tussauds
View from the trem
I was so excited knowing that I finally visited this famous wax museum. We can't stop taking picture :p

And we tried this game called SCRE4M, a live action games attraction based on the film. All I can do is closed my eyes and screaming lol such a chicken.
We really took a lot of picture and had so much in Madame Tussauds. After that, we got around The Peak Tower before going back to the trem station.
Enough in Madame Tussauds and The Peak Tower. We went to the nearest MTR to get to the Ladies Market and shoppingggg!

There's plenty of shops and booth in Ladies Market. The stuffs are cute and quite cheap. I wish I had a tiny little body so I can buy all the clothes. But, in fact I didn't, so I just bought a bag. We spent a lot of time in here. From day to night. After that, we went to Avenue of the Stars. There was a funny story about our trip to Avenue of the Stars...
My brother was mad at Bunda because he got tired and Bunda didn't allowed him to take a rest. So, he walk fast in front us. And then, he disappear. We spent about 30 minutes to find him. Bunda started crying and Ayah started to panicked. Me? I felt nothing, because I know he is somewhere and not missing. And yes, he was on the Avenue of the Stars, sitting peacefully.
We got back to Macau at 1.00 am in the morning. Tired yet fun day!

Day 4
Waking up right in lunch time and prepare for another adventure to Coloane Island for Panda Park. It takes about an hours until we arrived in Seac Pai Van Park, where there's Panda conservation.
Isn't Kai Kai cute?
There were only 2 giant panda named Kai Kai and Xin Xin. Too bad when I got there, Xin Xin was just sleeping all the time. But this Kai Kai, is very adorable. I feel like hugging and bringing him home.

And then we went to Venetian Macau. My first thought was "this place is amazing!" and yes it is amazing. Venetian Macau is a Italian-Venetian theme resort. You can find hotel, shopping arcade, casino, and tourist activities in one place. This is also my first time being in a casino, I was excited to watch people playing and gambling. Too bad I can't join lol.
I took this photo secretly because no camera allowed.
This resort is so much fun and integrated. Full of branded shops and tourist activities, such as Gondola Ride and Ice World. I tried Gondola Ride for MOP 118/person. Priceyyy much.

Our Gondolier is a woman named Malena. She has an amazing voice while singing 'O Sole Mio. I was amazed by her voice and she told us that she was a  choir instructor before she works as a Gondolier. And btw, we tried another famous egg tart by Lord Stow's cafe.
I prefer Koi Kei's tough
Moved to another resort, City of Dreams. We planned to watch Bubble Show. They say it was free, but in fact we have to pay for about MOP 25. So we decided to not go. So, we back to the hotel and rest.

Day 5
I was sleeping all day long while my parents went to Senado Square again and Royal Supermarket to bought souvenirs. We have flight on 1:00 pm, so we went to the airport by taking shuttle services endorsed by Venetian Macau and  it's free. We have to wait for 3 hours before boarded.
Landed at midnight in LCCT, got starve, and ate at Food Garden. Another Chicken Rice yay! Because it was midnight, so there were no bus to the city so we have to wait and rest in the foodcourt. Finally, we took the bus at 6:00 am and went straight to Citin Hotel Pudu.
Me and Bunda went to the Central Market for shopping. But, the stuffs wasn't so good, so we just had lunch. Went to Bukit Bintang for another sight seeing. Because I just went to Kuala Lumpur a year ago, I wasn't excited.

Day 6
Went to Suria KLCC. Taking picture, lunch, and went back to the hotel for check out. Flight to Jakarta at 3:00 pm.

Our trip to Macau, Hongkong, and Kuala Lumpur was fuuuuun! Thank you Ayah and Bunda! I can't wait for the another trip ;)
